Here is How To Make Traditional Indian Cucumber Raita

Cucumber raita is very simple and easy to make side dish. You can have this lovely dish as a dip with fresh, roasted or baked veggies.





Ingredients:

(Servings: 1 cup)


  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup chopped seeded English hothouse cucumber
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tsp. chopped green onions
  • 1/4 tsp. ground coriander
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin

Preparation:

In a bowl, stir yogurt with the cumin, onions,  coriander and cilantro. Combine mixture with the chopped cucumber. If you like, sprinkle with cayenne or paprika, and chill before serving.
